Just a little nervous from the fall
It took me awhile to get into this but somewhere during EYES I was hooked. The sound is good but edgy at times. Sounds like the band was edgy as well.

Jam from Louisville doesn't touch the apocalyptic destruction of the one from this night (Fresno). Both Grows are Grows for the ages but Phil is much more bent and sinister in this one. It's downright terrifying. Listeners beware...no beginners on this one please. :)
another shining example of fine performance, amazing audio quality and separation, equalization of instruments...however, find Louisville from earlier

in the tour...the last five songs from this set are played in Louisville, but L-ville is better...more deep creative jams, more cohesive thematic material, some cool atonal and a-rhythmic portions as well...and an amazing 'other one' to boot...always been my fav from the tour

ears... the show might not be among the top 10 simply because the other band members are unable to even come close to the level of Jerry... this is Garcia at his peak, every single note touching the far edge of his skill! Listen to believe... get the full version of the show if you can since the first set is just as good!
